WHAT IS AN OLD HOME?
Wisconsin experienced a “great wave” of immigration which peaked between 1890 – 1920. Immigrants from Germany, Ireland, Poland, and Northern Europe brought their construction practices and used local materials to build their homes. Here in Wisconsin, our old homes are primarily from 1890 to as recent as 1970.
Our most recent projects fall primarily between the 1900 & 1930.
